vivocity

Went to vivo city with mae yeen yesterday. i didnt see her in such a long time. it was fun. met up around 12. she came a little late cos she couldnt find her phone. haha. so i went and get the tickets to the movies for later.

we went to sushi tei for lunch. yummy food. there was this guy behind the sushi counter that kept out yelling out orders in cantonese. its not very often you hear contonese here. so it was kinda funny. had loads of salmon. XD yummy. oh!!! and we ordered this dish called rainbow roll. god it was so good!! a must must must try. by the time we were done. we were so bloated.

we watched band slam first followed by the proposal. both was nice. but proposal was better. haha. vanessa anne hudgens was like damn emo in the movie. band slam was funny in some parts. couldnt stop laughing when the guy tried to kiss her. there were like only ten people in the cinema. damn enpty. but it was working and school hours. so yeah. went walk around after band slam as there was another hour before the movie starts. we went window shopping. but we didnt see any nice stuff anyway.

bought popcorn and an extreamly large cup of coke for the proposal. the cinema was packed then. the popcorn was practically tasteless and not cruchy. so mae yeen went to buy nachos. the movie was nice!! and funny!!. the people sitting in front and behind behind us in the cinema was weird though. they laugh even when its not funny. so annoying.

by the time the movie ended, it was almost seven so we decided to go home for dinner. not that we could eat anymore from all that popcorn and nachos. mae yeen wanted to take the cab home. so i was left alone to take the mrt. haha. then i received a text from her mmsaying that she got into a stinky cab with body odour overload. haha. she had to breath through her mouth the entire way home. haha. damn funny.

but other than that, it was a good day. had so much fun. but we were so carried away that we forgot to take pictures. :( so i cant post pics for this entry. but i will remember the next time. thats all for now. till then.

Carmen is leaving in four days :(

homesick

its been ages since i have blogged. anyway, i manage to get myself to singapore on wednesday. officially going to be here now. at least till the end of my course here.

been busy with the student visa for the past few days. so annoying. i actually didnt have to do anything. but somehow we got the wrong info and i wasted 30 bucks for nothing. =.= oh welll. so my student visa is delayed for another week or two.

anyway. its only been a few days. and i already miss home. maybe its the fact that i dont know anyone here. only mae yeen, tricia and natalie.i miss everyone. dont know when we can see each other again as everyone is practically in every corner of the world. carmen is leaving soon. =( i'll miss her so much you know. so sad. =(

i usually roam around on my own. but they have really nice and cheap stuff here. like the clothings and shoes and all. but i do need to control. cant spend so much money. i have more freedom here though. i dont need a car to go around. the public transportation here is awesome. not like back home.

orientation is on the 25th and 28th. they told me to bring insect repellant and sunblock in the letter. so strange. why in the world do we need insect repellant???

i cant post pictures temporarily because this is my relatives com. she doesnt have wireless so i cant transfer my pictures. i need to go get my own line. anyways got to go for dinner now. till next time.
